Adults: I work with adults have experienced significant childhood trauma, guiding them to heal deep-seated wounds and break generational cycles to foster healthier, more secure relationships in their current lives
Children and Teens: When it is deemed clinically appropriate I confidential, specialized space for children and teens to safely process difficult life experiences, utilizing play and creative expression to give voice to what is often hard to put into words.
I provide a specialized therapeutic space for children, teens, and parents to navigate the complexities of trauma, neurodiversity, and intense emotional landscapes. By integrating neurobiology and attachment-informed models, I help young people "unstick" from difficult experiences while empowering parents to act as co-therapists in their child's healing. Our work together focuses on moving beneath the surface of "large behaviors" to restore felt safety, regulate the nervous system, and build resilient family connection
Parenting children with "large behaviors" is vital work, but chronic stress can lead to blocked care—a physiological state where your nervous system shuts down to protect itself from exhaustion. My approach prioritizes nurturing the nurturer by stabilizing your own regulatory system and honoring the heavy toll this journey takes on your spirit. Together, we move beyond traditional discipline to implement brain-based strategies that address the "why" beneath the behavior while expanding your window of tolerance. By shifting from survival mode back into connection, I help you build practical skills and link you to the specialized resources you need to feel less alone
For families seeking a deeper community connection, I offer two comprehensive 16-week courses designed to move you from survival mode into mastery and connection.
ADHD Parenting Group focuses on the neurobiology of executive functioning, providing parents with a toolkit to bridge the gap between their child’s chronological age and their lagging skills.
Parenting After Trauma Group, we dive deep into the neurobiology of trauma on the brain and interpersonal relationships to help you decode "large behaviors," heal from blocked care, and restore felt safety within your home. Both groups offer a structured, empathetic environment to build your regulatory capacity alongside others who truly understand the unique toll and beauty of this journey.
I provide on-demand EMDR and processing groups for children and teens, specifically designed to address recent or acute traumatic episodes.
These short-term, highly structured groups allow young people reduce isolation and to process share their experiences—such as traumatic loss, bullying, social fears, assault, high-conflict divorce, or the unique complexities of adoption—without the pressure of traditional talk therapy.
By utilizing the Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP), we focus on stabilizing the nervous system and reducing the emotional charge of specific events in a safe, peer-supported environment. These groups are formed as the community need arises, ensuring that healing is timely and targeted to the specific challenges your child may be facing.
